David, Chinese guy in the yellow shirt, was our tour guide in Beijing. I didn't actually take any pictures of David, however, our friend, Brad, did take some fun shots of him. David works for a Chinese tourism office. He gave us the abridged version of Chinese history, it's so long do we really want the FULL story? He thought it was great that were "able" to have so many kids. By the end he was saying, "Why in the world would you want this many kids?" :)

Still in the forbidden city...David spoke English very well, but had a tendency to repeat words or phrases he didn't pronounce well or possibly to get us to respond. Long, long, long was said with the L's exaggerated and over and over. He reminded us of the assistant on Father of the Bride.

This is the "Huh?" picture. And Jessica is saying, "Wow, I really want to pick my fingernails, but my mom really doesn't want me to."
David and clan at the Summer's Palace, this was a summer retreat for the Emperor and Empress. It took 14 years to build and a lot of China's money. This was a man made lake that was HUGE! The royalty would come here to escape the heat of Beijing, so there were many trees, very beautiful.
Here we are in the van - Brad took our only group shot in the van. Brad's up front, Garrett's passed out, Elizabeth is eating her toes, Joe's gazing out the window and I bet a million dollars, I'm car/van sick. Loretta, Jessica, Carson and Mary Kate are hidden in the back row.
