Garrett is 10 months old!

I'm 10 months old. I weigh 20.6 pounds and I'm 28 inches long. I have 8 teeth. I can "ruff" like a dog, but I also "ruff" when I see birds, cats, etc. My favorite place to play is in Carson and Jessica's room where the big kid toys are located. I especially like Carson's cool Nerf guns, pencils, crayons, and Legos, because Mom always takes them away from me. I love to pull all the books off of my bookshelf and flip through all the pages. I can stand and I am taking 2-3 steps all by myself.

Namdaemun Market

In early October we took a Sunday trip to Namdaemu Market for lunch and shopping. It's a huge night and day market that dates back to the 15th century. It has thousands of shops and stalls selling food, ginseng, dried seaweed, clothes, shoes, hiking gear, watches, toys, stationery, etc. We ate kimchi, bulgogi, yaki mandu and who knows what else. :) Jessica and Erin showing our chopsticks prowess.
Deciding what to order by pictures only.

Korean rice cakes, more like rice paste rolled into a sticky ball, it must be an acquired taste.

Eels, anyone?

Carson wanted to take one home as a pet.

Garrett as a cheetah

Trick or Treating on Yongsan was held on Saturday, November 1st.
Here's Carson the Knight, Garrett the Cheetah and Jessica as Fancy Nancy outside our apartment with our jack o'lanterns.

Ahoy, Mateys!

Carson had a Pirate Party for his 7th Birthday. The party was held on Saturday, October 25th. We originally planned to have the party outside at our apartment's playground. However, due to rain and cool weather we moved the scallywags inside. Argh!

Gran made the Pirate Ship cake.

Joe also known as the grandson of "Black Jack George" created an inside treasure hunt.

Clue #1
Baby Garrett helping with the treasure hunt by eating the evidence.

Finding the "hidden" treasure!

The 7 cannons are lit!

Happy Birthday, Carson!

Happy 7th Birthday, Carson!

Our little or not so little Carsy turned 7 on October 22nd. My mom, Gran, was here to celebrate with us. We had Monkey Bread and present opening before school, cupcakes at school and bowling with pizza that night. Joe was TDY to Osan, but came home to surprise Carson. Carson is a very active, energetic, sweet, creative and smart 7-year old. He's 50 pounds (mostly skin and bones) and 49 inches. He loves Legos, Kinex, Lincoln Logs, puzzles, drawing, and every kind of sport - soccer, golf, baseball, basketball, etc. His new hobbies are Karate and our new Wii. Thanks Gran and Pooops! He's such a terrific big brother to Jess and Baby Garrett.
